Quick Answers

Get quick answers to common questions about our pest control services and products tailored for single mothers concerned about German roach infestations.

Can residents apply gel baits on their own?

Yes.  Residents may apply gel bait in their own "Ugly Box".  However, they are not allowed to do this for others as a service and charge.

How long does it take to see results?

In units that have minor issues and application is done by following instructions, results should become evident in about 30 days.  Larger infestations may take up to 90 days.

Is the Gentrol Point Source IGR the ideal IGR to apply?

There are liquid IGR are available to spay but require the German Roach to travel over that product.  Gentrol Point Source is an air born product that exposes roaches whether or not there is direct exposure.

Will any monitoring glue board be used?

Yes.  The "Ugly Box" is designed to accept most over the counter monitoring glue boards.

Will any gel bait work or does it have to be something like Advion Roach Gel bait?

No.  You can implement any brand with any active ingredient.  For example, residnets can use a over the counter gel bait as a Preventive.  But units with issues requires something similar as Advion.  You will need to change gel baits from one active ingredient to another as roaches can become resistant.

How often should gel bait be reapplied?

That depends on which stage they are in.  If they are at the preventive stage, there may be no need to place gel bait in the "Ugly Box".  Monitoring gel bait consumption would be the best way to gauge re-application.  In cases that it's "in progress", perhaps no less than weekly
